Availability of Products
When browsing our website most products will become an enquiry. This allows us to check them for you and if the item is out of stock we will suggest an alternative colour or style.
If we have stock available, orders will be sent the following day, providing proof of payment has been received. If out of stock, please allow 14 days plus delivery time.
PostNet & Handling
Mike and Liz Hairpieces offer shipping via PostNet to your door or your nearest PostNet.
Shipping costs are for your account.
All items on our website are shipped from our Salon in Linden, Johannesburg, South Africa.
If the product is available ex stock your order should take between 2 and 5 working days to be delivered after payment has been confirmed.
We stock most of the popular styles and colours but are unfortunately unable to carry stock of all the items. Some items need to be ordered from overseas.
Sometimes packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this happen we will make every attempt to contact you.
Mike and Liz Hairpieces makes every effort to ensure that the content and data displayed on our website is 100% accurate. If a product has been priced incorrectly and the customer is unwilling to pay the correct price, then we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the customer the full amount paid by them.
Delivery and Delivery Costs
Delivery of your order will be made as soon as payment has been confirmed. Stock items will be delivered between 2 and 5 working days. Should you require an item which is out of stock we will order it for you, once payment has been confirmed.
PostNet requires that each and every delivery be signed for as proof of delivery and the onus of ownership then passes to you.
Please make sure that you provide us with the correct delivery address. Should you require a door to door delivery please ensure that somebody is there to receive the parcel. PostNet will not deliver to a Post Office Box Number. mikeandliz.co.za cannot be held responsible for delays or losses of any sort where we deliver to an address provided in error. mikeandliz.co.za will not incur any additional costs on deliveries.
Damages or delays resulting from riots, terrorist activities, embargo and Acts of God will not be the responsibility of Mike and Liz Hairpieces.
Upon delivery of the goods you must inspect them carefully. If your parcel has been damaged or opened do not accept it from the courier. If any of the goods do not match the description or appear to be damaged, do not use the goods. Please contact Mike and Liz by e-mail and inform us of the problem within 10 days of delivery of the goods. We will not entertain any other disputes after a 10 day period.
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). Value Added Tax (VAT) at a rate of 15% has been included on all prices shown on the site.
mikeandliz.co.za charges a shipping fee of R160.00 to anywhere in South Africa. mikeandliz.co.za charges a shipping fee of R100.00 to any PostNet in South Africa.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Out of Stock Items
Although we stock an extensive range of Brands at Mike and Liz Hairpieces we are unfortunately not able to carry all the styles and colours available.
If the item is out of stock, we will place a back-order for it with our overseas suppliers and notify you via email of the delay. You can then decide whether to wait for that item or whether you would like to choose something else.

Returns will not be accepted unless preauthorised by Mike and Liz Hairpieces. We will authorise the return only after we have evaluated the reason for the return.
If there is a factory defect or incorrectly shipped item due to our error, a full exchange or credit will be applied directly to your account.
Requests to return any item must be made within 10 working days. Returned goods must be in the original condition. “Original condition” is defined by Mike and Liz as not having been altered and must be complete with hang tag and label.
Exchanges are processed within 5 days of receipt, depending on whether we have stock. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us as well as for the cost of sending the new items to you. The new items will not be shipped until the postage has been paid.
Should you wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a restocking fee of 10%. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation within 10 working days.
Discontinued/sale items are not refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.
We are not responsible for lost returned packages.
Mike and Liz accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Amex, EFT and COD.
Unfortunately we do not accept cheque payments.
Payments made by EFT need to be cleared first by our bank.
Your order will only be dispatched after the funds have been cleared. This takes between 1 and 2 days.
All goods remain the property of mikeandliz.co.za until paid for in full.

Updating of these Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
Recommendations by Our Sales Staff
All recommendations are based on the images provided. Please note that filtered/old/poor quality images will affect the recommendation given. All recommendations, while given utmost consideration, are opinion-based and cannot be guaranteed.
I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to mikeandliz.co.za and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by mikeandliz.co.za for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
